Now you've lost me.

Is "the thing that is likely to actually kill you" the virus, or cycling ?

Well you can't die of both simultaneously, so that's a relief I guess

But with one you run a real risk of being seen off by other people driving badly.
But are unlikely to present a significant risk to other people.

The virus requires we take action to look after both ourselves and others.

I suspect I'm unlikely to die of the virus if I catch it, but I might pass it on to someone who could if I don't take precautions, so I'll just be careful for now until enough of us can get vaccinated.

Only seems polite really :okay:.

I'm just so sad watching my children's, education, social awareness and mental health sliding down into the pit ...
Anyway ... back to evil dog poo disposers ... annoys the hell out of me .... AND .. if the dog poo bin is full don't dump it on the bin or under the bin ... take it home !

I quite agree that covid restrictions are having a negative effect on our childrens well being - all of our well being in fact.

But that has to be balanced up against the consequences of not complying with restrictions - ie spreading the virus more - causing more untimely deaths.

I'm doing what i can to assist my kids and others with getting through the next few months - Showing solidarity - and thinking about the bigger picture / society are all social skills and part of building more robust metal health all round - but yes it is hard.

Meanwhile we can all unite against the filthy dog doo - dumpers ... grrrr :cursing:

Its always good to have a common enemy to rail against :okay:

I drove to the local park this afternoon. I must've left my walking stick behind as it wasn't in the car when i parked up back home. I drove back to where i'd been in the park to see if the stick was there. It wasn't,so it looks like someone's picked it up and taken it with them. Why not just leave it where it was so the owner (me) could find it?! 😒Another annoying thing is that i can't buy a replacement as the charity shops where i buy them are all now closed.😒

It's been found!

"Has anyone lost this walking stick? I found it on the road near memorial. Please knock on at All springs lodge if you’re missing it."

"Hi Accy, it was in the middle of the road (I nearly squashed it) i’ve left it at all Springs lodge, it was too nice to leave out. if you knock on there for it".

Posted on a local Facebook page this evening. I'll go and collect it tomorrow.

There was me moaning about them not just leaving it where it was found, but she took it to a place of safety thinking someone'd take it home and keep it!

Still think (slightly maybe) that if she'd left it there i'd have got it back there and then instead of having to knock on someone's door for it. There i was sat thinking about the stick when i decided to look at the local Facebook page on the off chance it was on there and low and behold i saw that pic' of my stick! The powers of social media eh! ;)

The little strips of sticky plastic that secure a loaf of bread.
Once they've been removed (if you can actually find the unstuck ends to pull!) don't put them back on, just bin them and twist the bag to keep the bread fresh.
