Yes, the swirly ones. More art nouveau to my eye. Both of which have their place. But to my eye Ernesto was (is?) colour blind and the bicycle in any case was never a suitable canvass.

'was never' or is never? Not sure I agree. The Vitus's that I saw when the National Crit series came here looked fantastic and the paint jobs on some the top end steel frames I saw at events in the 80's and 90's looked fantastic in the flesh.
The Art Deco was mixed with whatever sponsor. Mine was a late 90's Rabobank colour scheme. I would say that the Mapei Quick-step livery didn't really go. Those cubes wouldn't look good on any frame.
The C60 looked great

Certainly no worse than black on black. Hopefully a buyer can find the sweet spot middle ground.
Buyers subjective choice.

I am with you on black bikes with black everything. Says the guy with titanium everything...

There was a fabulous deep red metallic Colnago with chromed stays that someone was inexplicably selling a few years ago on BR. That was art.

What's going on with the rear mech dud you polish up a tourney rd? And the bottle cages have weird things on them?
Other than that nice bike! 😁

Rear mech (full groupset) is Campagnolo. Bottle cages are Elite with inserts to stop bottles falling out. They work.
