Trivial things that make you annoyed beyond expectations?

After a few hectic hours at work I sometimes want to just take my lunch break relaxing and will often just sit there quietly reading a book.
There's one person though,who will come into the rest room and insists that he's got to sit there,and franticly flick through multiple til tok or YouTube shorts looking for videos to watch with the volume in his phone turned up full.
That's all you hear from it ,is burst of manic noises for around a few seconds before he swipes to the next video.
It's annoys me that much I end up either having my lunch break in the my car or sitting outside when it's nice to avoid him

I used to read on my lunch break too, and chose a time when it was quietest in the staff canteen with not so many chatty people around. However, there was a wall-mounted tv which was always on, showing awful daytime guff with nobody actually watching it. I would turn it off when I went in, as I was always first in the canteen at that time of day.

But there was one guy who’d come in with three or four colleagues, turn the telly on and then sit with their back to it and not watch it, just chat amongst themselves. What’s the point?!

Oh, and there was one other guy who was a heavy gambler, who’d come in (when he should be working) to put on the horse racing. He’d stand right in front of it with the volume way up shouting at the telly as the race progressed.

I eventually got my revenge on both…

That is totally ignorant. I would ask them to turn it down or suggest wearing headphones. You never know, people like that often try to bypass common courtesy until they are challenged, but will sometimes do the decent thing when asked
