If your PVR is the same as mine (Humax Foxsat), you can also configure the skip back (Replay) button for, say, 15 seconds - that way if you overshoot when skipping past the ads, 2 or 3 presses on skip back usually does the trick.

The one I am referencing is a Panasonic Freeview PVR. Also has a 10 sec skip back button; a recording off More 4 needed 5 minutes forward and 20 seconds back
I have my Humax Freesat box set to 1 minute forward, 15 seconds back. Most ad breaks now seem to be 4 or 5 minutes, which I can skip in about 5 seconds.

Think those Humax freesat boxes must be newer than mine as their is no skip option just fast forward hence it normally gets used for recording BBC programmes.

Just received a letter from the Nottinghamshire victims care unit, 2 of the lines on it has me spitting feathers for some inexplicable reasons

Access to specialist support (such as signposting). WTF is signposting, if I don't know what it is how can I know if I need it!
Crime Prevention measures (including target hardening). Again WTF is target hardening!

Why can't these pretentious knobs talk English, who do they think their target audience is?
The second is how you can make things harder for the next ones who try.
Usually by improving security, CCTV that kind of thing.

The demise of physical car brochures.

The online versions, especially if viewing on a phone are horrendous, jumping about here there and everywhere, not being able to find the specs you want and when you do they are too small to read or won't stay on the page, and yes let us not forget the constant interruptions from bots wanting to "assist you"

Mrs. C wanted an Audi but have given up trying to use their site, how the ---- am I supposed to know what a 25 HFSI or a 30 or a 35 is.

You have to go into every alternative model build to find out the engine size.

Why can't they just put 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 etc.

Mullet bikes. Except Specialized Turbo Levo and Kenevo. Those bikes seem to hide the mulletness.

Also, bikes that have mismatched tyres unless you're doing it for budgetary reasons.

Totally agree.

even worse, on some manufacturers sites, try simply finding the dimensions of the vehicle (i.e. will it fit my garage). Three different manufacturers recently and not a length/width to be found without major lateral thinking

A cargo bike would definitely fit your garage with space for more!
When you're typical ride looks something like this,

Then the limits of cargo bike are easy see. Even e-assist ones.

I've done the hill in the centre of that piece above, more than once on a loaded cargo quad. No e-assist, just plain old leg power.
The person who I bought it from felt, and told me, I was nuts for taking it over the Pennines just to get it home. He was no stranger to riding unusual cycles, with a ZEM 2 & ZEM 4 in his garage. Amongst others.

I bought it off him because the only shop that sold them, considered it unsuitable for my requirements. That's after arranging a test ride, and then a 350 mile round trip just to try one out.
