Just reading a book about a cycle ride from Mull of Galloway to Cape Wrath. Could be interesting but the author comes over as a patronising git and his depiction of how “ the natives” speak is truly cringeworthy.
Got it cheap in a charity shop and now destined for paper bin.

Window cleaners who don't turn up! As a former what i'd like to think of as a reliable window cleaner, I find those I've asked to do mine either lazy or not well organised. I've asked three in the last few weeks to do my five windows. Not one has yet turned up. I just know that at least two of them will turn up one after the other, like the waiting for a bus and they all turn up at once scenario. They advertise on the local facebook page asking for customers, but then they'll post later saying they can't do them for a while due to various circumstances.

Windows that open inwards are the solution to this problem.

Superhero movies and TV shows.

Some of them are ok (the one with will smith, black panther to name a couple), but on the whole, they're terrible. Bumblebee, while not a superhero based movie but I also dislike this genre, was good though.

Everything else sucks. So why do I watch them? Ah, family stuff. That's important to me.
