Lidl. They send me vouchers, latest being 25p off nut bars, but it seems when I go in they have sent everyone else the same vouchers as the shelf is bare of the said items.

I tried on a jacket in a charity shop this aft'. When I reached for my reading glasses about 20 minutes later I couldn't find them. I waked back to the charity shop thinking I'll have put them and then left them in a pocket of that jacket I tried on. When I reached the shop it was closed.

Anyway, at least I didn't buy the charity shop jacket, which i definitely didn't need! It was 15 quid and not that great a material or fit. Ok, if I'd have bought the jacket I would still have my glasses, but the glasses were only Ā£3, so In a way I've lost 3 quid but saved 15 quid, which I suppose is a trivial things that please you, rather than a trivial things that annoy you moment.šŸ¤”

And tomorrow they will probably have sold the glasses

The faces on the old biddies behind the counter as me and friend went in the shop were a picture! Think bulldog chewing a wasp! My friend said "they've been in all day and don't want me and you walking in just before closing time". No, I replied, they are just miserable old gits who really shouldn't be there, if they don't want customers coming in! šŸ§

Mind you, when I'm working in the retro clothing shop and someone comes in who is scruffy and looks like they aren't going to buy anything and just faff about instead, I sometimes think things like "I wish he/she would just feck right off out of here"!!!šŸ§

My Garmin 530 informing cadence is too low when freewheeling downhill at increasing speed, surely it's not beyond the boffins braincell at Garmin to suppress that alert if speed is going up. And at the same time maybe they could come up with a reroute setting that prohibits the showing of make a U turn

When I receive bad customer service from a shop esp a bike shop....

When I feel I ought to buy something in an overpriced bike shop.

Not quite trivial but I've just realised something that's annoying me a lot.

At the weekend my sports headphones I only got late August fell out of the van door pocket. I picked the box up, a nice rounded edge box with a USB charging cable built in , and put it in another storage cubbyhole not in the door. I didn't check the contents because it was closed. That was last Friday afternoon.

On Tuesday I was off work and went out in the van. I noticed something plastic on the floor that I thought was a kind of bung with a snapped loop handle. I threw it down meaning to pick it up to throw away when I got back, but I forgot.

Yesterday my partner told me she'd picked up a cordless headphone from near the parked van. I looked at it and it was one of the headphones. Phew that was lucky! It was waterproof so it would be OK and she just saved a Ā£35 set of headphones.

Tonight I thought I'd check the box out, can you guess what I saw? Yes it didn't have the second headphone in it but was empty! Cue a trip outside with a headtorch. I went straight to it, a crushed headphone! Not just did I lazily threw it away I effectively made my headphones useless by throwing it where next door's car goes.

So now with things being tight money wise I've got a broken set of headphones and can't justify replacing them. They were a very very neat package too. Oh and it's my fault because I threw it away to get damaged.

Anyone got a set of these with one broken headphone side to make a full set up?

I lost one of my earpods but fortunately the one I still have has the Bluetooth receiver in it so still works. I mainly listen to podcasts when out and about and just using the one is surprisingly effective and Iā€™ve come to prefer it as Iā€™m still aware of my environment.

It was supposed to only be temporary littering!

My sister cleaned up after her dog on a walk with me, then hid the bag in a bush. I hate that kind of thing so I told her off. She replied that she always does that (providing nobody is watching!) to avoid carrying the bag around for the rest of the walk; she would pick it when we came back later. By the time we arrived back I had forgotten about it, but she hadn't. She retrieved it and put it in the appropriate bin at the end of her road.
