I’m a big radio listener, especially for the sport. Some sports work well on the radio - cricket is great and I grew up on crackly medium-wave football. Others less so, like athletics and, if you can find it, cycling.

But swimming?! Swimming on the radio???? Take a bow 5 Live.

"Smart Phones" may be getting "smarter", but why can't the same be said for some of those with them.
They talk into the charging socket, then place the same charging socket to their ear. Don't they know there's both a microphone and a speaker on phones.

It's normally on speaker when they use them, so everyone gets to hear what's being said on both ends of the call.

In my view, the phones are often significantly smarter than their owners...Why would anyone with a brain cell walk, anywhere, with headphones in and looking at a screen, rather than where you are going? *shakes head*

The use of obscure profession related (OPR) three letter acronyms (TLA) with no explanation. Especially when the words abbreviated are simple monosyllabic or bisyllabic words (MBW) Would it really tire you out (TYO) to use the full words (TFW) at least once?

Please Miss, those are initialisms and not acronyms, which are words formed from initial letters, e.g. radar, sonar, NATO and TARDIS.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
The almost exclusive use of 'going forward'. What's wrong with 'in the future'?

Still bloody annoying as they often mean different thing to different people across different professions & if your profession spans more than one, it can get very confusing.

Especially if your Stakeholders are different, Stakeholder, Stakeholders WTF are Stakeholders!!!!

Breath, breath, deep breathes, deep breathes, calm down, it's just silly people being silly it doesn't matter, life will go on.

Who does this exclude?
ex·clu·sive
[ɪkˈskluːsɪv, ɛkˈskluːsɪv]

ADJECTIVE
  1. excluding or not admitting other things:
"an exclusive focus on success and making money" ·
    [More]
    synonyms:

    - it's use excludes the use of 'in the future'. The expression 'going forward' is used almost exclusively. Is this incorrect usage?

A big Audi driver irritated me beyond expectation today.
Indicated to merge into r/h lane, more than enough gap, started manoever as big audi driver lurched forward to fill gap, tooted then gave an exasperated gesture with her hands. So i stopped at the roundabout we were merging for 50 years further on....and waited, leant out the window and said...'you'll wait for me now'...and sat there for maybe 10 seconds...just to annoy her

Grown up of me ? No. I suspect she was just in too much rush, big car syndrome perhaps. Slow down and be a bit more respectful of other of other road users.
