Those all in one hand washing thingies in public toilets.
Soap: correct amount, probably.
Water: rinses and rinses and rinses and rinses.
Hot air: never enough to dry your hands.

Last one I used was lots of soap - not enough water to rinse it all off then not enough air to dry one hand
Only technique was to do it once - the trigger it again but doge the soap to get to the water
then just dry your hands on your trousers

The demise of the tomato... In a lab somewhere some white coated SOaB is engineering tomatoes that safely arrive on the supermarket shelves but are hard as hell and inedible. 'Cherry' tomatoes used to be reasonable but now are just plain offensive. Can it be that hard to get a tasty variety like 'Gardeners Delight' to the veg section? For sure there is a few expensive choices available but im not paying £2 and over a punnet. I look forward to when i can grow my own again and the supermarkets can go shove'em.....
My father was a market gardener and grew tomatoes. He always maintained that the old fashioned ones were better but modern variations were more profitable. He had both. The few of the old varieties were for our own use and the rest were for sale.

Don't know why we can't have more home grown. No doubt the shortage of people to pick them these days. When I was growing up, there were tomato greenhouses just outside the village where many of the local women would go and pick them throughout the growing season. I used to love visiting my dad and gorging on his tomatoes straight off the vine. So sweet and tasty.
They were later ripening than those grown further south unless expensive heat was used and so were less profitable as prices fell when more came on the market. They were also imported from Holland.

A Stepford-wife-like grinning automaton is incredibly happy to have spent £1,473 on a smartphone which can capture them falling to their death from a clifftop as they shoot the (literally!) ultimate 4k video selfie, which eventually becomes a viral hit on YouTube - "They died, that others may laugh..."!

Boxes that you need a degree in Design & Technology, a Stanley Knife and a bad temper to get into!

Summat arrives, maybe a lovely bell for the bike, or a new toy/essential gadget, and it's impossible to work out which flap to open to gain access..
Either that, or it's so tightly fitted that you need a presta valve and a bike pump to push the lid off by air pressure.

Grrrrrr.. Just gimme a box with a lid that lifts off and goes back on again.. Easily!

For some unknown reason, Hampshire gets shortened to 'Hants' (just written it on works letter to client). Where is Hantshire?.
My theory is a spelling error by a monk in the 13th century?.

Small objects are hermetically sealed in indestructible (and sharp) vacuum plastic requiring a chainsaw to open it. Shaving blades being the worst culprit:okay:

I just saw a cracker...

A woman has a shower. She finishes, steps out of the cubicle, wraps a towel round herself, and starts to walk out of the bathroom. But wait - how ungrateful! She stops with a guilty look on her face, turns to face the cubicle, then displays a beaming manic smile as if to say "Oh, thank you, my beautiful shower!"

Communication again...just had an email saying my insurance has been renewed...and i dont want it renewed. To tell them so requires a lengthy expensive phone call, selecting numerous options and jumping through multiple flaming hoops. I suppose they make this difficult as an elderly forgetful person may forget about it and their unwanted insurance is renewed for the next 10 years
