I presume your 'van never got as bad as my Ifor-Williams used to on some roads around hereThat's part of the reason we use a towing cover. Not especially keen on having to wash down the van on holiday.
Brought it back yesterday, via the same route, barring avoiding Follifoot, & using Haggs Road(?) half a mile to the east of the village@Jameshow

This area is inundated with Red Kites, as apparantly they breed (to the south) just over the River Wharfe, in the Harewood estate
