It's called racing for a reason. Jeesus, they'll be issuing overtaking/blocking/veering off line licences next.Whingers like Cavendish should expect and accept what they get in return.

He got dq-ed for the same thing the other day! Did you call the recipients of his points whingers after that too?

I laughed at Ben Swift's texted comment on today's stage:

"Was funny that I couldn't get out of the ditch I was stuck upside down. mate this race is ****ing insane."

He seems to have the right attitude.

I've watched a few of the videos he and G have filmed, so easy to relate to those guys in the sense that they just come accross so human and genuine, loving each day of racing as it comes. I really hope one of them gets a stage win this year

No. He was the one doing the whinging.

Today? Well he was correct as the commisaires had dq-ed Boonen and Rojas in the interests of safety. You should maybe watch cage-fighting instead. Safety is a real issue as you may realise if you watched the numerous, bone breaks and road rash accidents from today's stage.

Sprinting is a contact sport, that's why we watch it.

it wasn't about contact, it was about Rojas and Boonen moving off their line during the intermediate sprint. Rojas in particular drifted left to right, then centred up, then drifted to the left again, totally baulking Cavendish in the final charge at the line. The relegation seemed completely correct by interpretation if you consider the same sort of incident the day before yesterday

Certainly that was the explanation that the commissioners seemed to give (if my French can be trusted!) Rojas was all over the place.

Btw, welcome back (?) rusty. It seems to have been a while since I've read anything from you.

Remember Abdu japy he was the greatest for that kind of thing. Used to take himself out. The barriers on the champs elysee was a classic.

Why thank you your Serene Worship. I check in a bit, post a lot less, examine the FG forum occasionally, and generally plot the downfall of the mighty Keith Oates. (like, that's gonna happen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Alles ist ordnung

I love the comment on that video...

Hard as ****ing nails. Took weeks to repair that bit of road where he crashed.

How many more races could he have won if he had sprinted in a straight line! Reckon sprinters at the time must have been terrified of him! He makes recent dqs look tame!
