I don't think he'll start tomorrow.

That could have been a possible practice lead out for next year, Geraint Thomas leading out Cav if the rumours are right.

I want to watch that again and again, just to see where he came from, but I reckon that's Cavendish's best win yet. I thought he was gone, the HTC train gone, but up he popped like a true sprinter to be where it mattered when it mattered. Cracking stuff!

Absolutely. Cav is saying that Greipel bashed him from the side, and he had to drop back, because he felt he couldn't do anything after being relegated the other day, so he had to come from behind. He was also saying that HTC weren't trying to make a train as it wasn't that kind of finish and the peleton was too big, ao they were just instructed to keep the pace very high and the peleton as strung out as possible.

Just heard the post race interview and Cav reckons the organisers have planned the finishes to upset the HTC train!

I think the race this year has been planned to make it as open and unpredicatable as possible all round and make sure that all favourites are under pressure. That's how it should be.

Booned just finished, 13 minutes down. What a gutsy finish. Don't write him off yet, he's battered and bruised but not necessarily out.
