Were VLB going for the stage all along or having Jorgenson and Kelderman as helpers if Vingo attacked? Not sure when they changed strategy. The commentators kept saying how well J&K were riding but at 4 minutes ahead they were never going to be able to help Vingo even if he'd had the legs.

Jonas talked about this in his interview - the strategy was to have satellite riders up the road but he didn't have the legs to go so they let Jorgensen go for it. (Something like that anyway)

Still blown away after watching Pog on this stage...every credit to Visma for trying but it was never going to be.Pog has wanted a bit of revenge for the disappointment of the last two tours and who can blame him....untouchable in this Tour 😍
Class ride again by Remco...makes it even sweeter having the great Landa as your super domestique ! He could afford to go for it tomorrow without losing his third spot ? But said he'd rather save something for the final TT.
