I wanted Pogacar to win - but I'm also said that we seem to have returned to the big Mig style of winning the TDF - which very quickly gets boring.

It's hardly been a boring tour so far. And while it's unlikely that UAE can do anything about the result I bet that won't stop them trying.

By eck, I didn’t see that from Vin, unbelievable to beat Pog and WVA by minutes over such a short course. He could have stopped for a brandy and espresso and still won.

I dunno if you watched the TDF in the 1990s - but the Indurain years were dour - and they got worse with each passing year......so much so that the C4 coverage gave more and more prominence to the green jersey competition!!!

We have been spoiled I suppose with Froome, Wiggins, Pogacar - who as well as winning the TDF wanted to put on a show.

Vinnegard has been the stronger rider all along - he most likely could have been 5 or 6 minutes ahead by now - but has raced conservatively - and loaded it all on the TT.

A true champion would attack his rivals - not just mark them.

I think the final podium spot is where the interest moves next. Five seconds between A Yates and Rodriguez.
