No not really 15 seconds

What I meant was had Pogacar between 15 seconds ahead going into the final climb - would he have made the change ? (no imo)

But as he was down by quite a margin - he realised he had probably lost the tour anyway - his one chance would have been going up that hill significantly faster than Vinnegard.

I'd be prepared to bet they'd worked out and planned what they thought was the fastest strategy. I doubt that Vingo going incredibly well (or if he had gone badly) would have caused them to change things on the fly.

It would be a case of not changing though.
Nope...we've probably just watched one of the best TT performances ever 😁
Everyone else is on a step below.

Wow..............................I'm speechless.......

Agree with that.

But I think Pogacar had to try something up that final climb - he could have stayed on his TT bike - and everyone would have know the outcome. Staying on the TT bike would have lost him the tdf .....he had to try something different....and the difference was switching to the lighter bike. Ok it didn't work - but neither would have staying on the TT bike.

I wanted Pogacar to win - but I'm also said that we seem to have returned to the big Mig style of winning the TDF - which very quickly gets boring.
