Found myself listening to 'Return to sender' the other day, which begins

I gave a letter to the postman
He put it in his sack
Bright and early next morning
He brought my letter back

And I thought, you have to say, that's an excellent postal service. You'd be lucky to get it back within a week these days, even without the current problems.
I remember when I was a Postie that sometimes people got their mail back not only on the same day as posting but before they had even got back home from wherever they posted it. They had forgotten the stamp but had the return address on the back so easiest thing was just fire it straight back on second delivery of the day. Probably against the rules but sometimes in those days we bent then a bit as a favour.
A large tip expected at Christmas of course.

Can some one let me in on the YCAF thing? And is this thread about philosphy [which apparently I can't spell!]or launching Nukes? And yes I'm bored of lockdown! I wish I could go for a ride, I would even go to work to break the monotony.

Sorry what was the thread again? Mundane news or having a hissy fit about inane threads?

Yet Another Cycling Forum: http://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php Not as busy as CycleChat but has a good following and they have a similar silly sense of humour. Some of the members here are also members over there.

As for what this thread is about........

Apparently, I have an attention problem so not only am I very guilty of 'thread sliding' on the forum, I actually do it a lot in 'real life'.

Somebody pointed it out to me and I didn't believe them until they asked me to read an email that I had sent to them. Sure enough, I was sliding violently, sometimes in mid-sentence!

If sliding were banned, I would have to go. Some of you might consider that a price worth paying!
Sorry what were you saying just then?;)

"Shower curtains"??? Horrible things, draft catches them and they touch your back and you scream like a hysterical blonde in a slasher movie as you positively believe Alfred Hitchcocks, "Physco'" is attacking you! Nope, glass all the way......... Unless you have a cat like my Sisters that likes to watch you whilst you shower. Almost as unnerving as shower curtains........
Was this thread about flouncing or flossing? I digress. I should appol..... ? Well I would but I can't spell it!

I’ll be over at YACF if anyone needs me.
I just nipped over to YACF - thread titles include:
"Washing machine - door will not close"
"Fruit flies - how to deal with?"
"What are you doing right now?"
"Pics of you onna statue or sculpture"
"Ergon GA2 grips"

I'm not knocking YACF, it seems like a decent forum, but is it that much different?
People are bored at home in lockdown.
There is a long and distinguished history of stupid threads, some reach legendary status.
I’m finding CC to be a good diversion from the boredom.
Beebo nails it :okay:
