This tiny submarine 2.4 miles under the sea, visiting the relics of RMS Titanic. Can it be found and the crew saved before the air runs out?

Ross Kemp cancelled plans to film Titanic dive over safety fears.

Well well, if Ross "Super Army Soldier" Kemp thought it was unsafe that's really saying something!

I am inferring Boris Johnson is a twit , not Drago, not Humphrey Lytteton, or anyone else who may have had a privileged education, and done sod all with it !

If you don't like my opinions re the former PM Boris Johnson ,sue me, I am absolutely sure I am not the only one, the majority of the Palace of Westminster seem to think so.

By the way I briefly met Sir Humphrey Lyttleton, if the musician/ radio presenter is the one referred to.

I expect we are totally of one mind about the merits Boris, Humph, and even Drago.

I was having a bit of fun mentioning old-Etonian Lyttelton, rather than disagreeing per se

So @Drago was at Eton with Humph. Well you learn a new thing everyday on CC. I just didn’t have a clue.

I have mentioned prep school and my resulting penchant for being spanked a few times.

As for the Virgin dive project, wasn't that submersible designed to be used only the once, and not at all suitable for repeat dives because of the cumulative damage from cyclic stresses...or am I thinking of a different sub?

Investigators in Canada have boarded the support ship used to launch the Titan submersible in their bid to understand what caused the vessel's catastrophic implosion.

Have a hunch that might not be the right place to look.

can you imagine the morale on board that ship. they must all be so devastated

Turns out that Stockton Rush had a BEng in aerospace engineering. Which means he would have had near enough the exact same basic grounding in physics, maths, engineering science and materials technology that I had.

Also turns out one of the reasons he used CFRP for the sub's primary hull is that it was cheaper to make than the industry-standard steel structure.

In my opinion, that's shifted him from "rich plonker" to "dangerous idiot"

Read about it HERE on the BBC news website.

Heads are gonna roll, regardless, but once these f***ers have served their time/paid their fines, they will just start something else equally dangerous to lure in bored wealthy people instead 🤷
