It’s a really good idea to remove the old ceiling tiles, and the supporting grid frame, re-do all of the services above it, and install new one. The old one looked rubbish, and the services were ancient and didn’t work very well.

But why did you wait til 3 weeks after the carpets had been replaced and the walls painted?


And while we’re on the subject - you knew a new department had moved in to the area. That’s why you painted the walls. Wouldn’t it have been a sensible idea to take down the sign with the old department’s name, rather than just painting around it, and then removing it later?
