Tell him to save time and go straight for the XXXL!I'm sorry mate, but I really don't think you'll squeeze your less than athletic body into those medium castelli bibshorts.
There you go, the XL is worth a punt.
Now I know you are taking pi55 . Castelli don't make stuff that big ...Tell him to save time and go straight for the XXXL!
Yes they do.Now I know you are taking pi55 . Castelli don't make stuff that big ...
Yes they do.
Castelli xxxl translates to L or possibly XL in clothes sized for normal people. I suspect that castelli S would probably just about fit an action man doll.
If I need a bike reservation, I book my tickets through Hull Trains, where they do it all in one go .
Thank you for that!If I need a bike reservation, I book my tickets through Hull Trains, where they do it all in one go .
The Humber Bridge works! (Ok, stictly speaking, it isn't IN Hull, but it is not far away.)There is something that works in Hull !!
Ah - there is a Hull Trains app but it gets poor reviews so I don't think I will risk using it. Anyway, I'd still like a paper copy of tickets in case I had a problem with my phone.Dear Hull Trains boss ...
Having included the option to make bike reservations at the same time as booking rail tickets on your excellent website, any chance of allowing us to print our own tickets as well, and/or downloading an e-ticket to our phones? I can't print my tickets at my local ticket machine because it has been vandalised and my 10 mile return trip to the alternative machine that I had selected was wasted when the damn thing refused to recognise my debit card!
Well, they did get back to me with a reservation after about 20 hours, but by then I had already given up and gone to The Hull Trains website. I cancelled the CCT reservation to make sure that the bike space is freed for another rider's use. (The silly way that the CCT reservation process works means that the reservation is not tied to a ticket purchase. CCT had no way of knowing whether I intended to go ahead with my journey and thus need the reservation!)Dear Cross Country Trains boss. It is 2017. All I want to do is to buy a rail ticket on your website and make a reservation for my bike at the same time. It's not really a lot to ask, is it?
...
I've settled for the 'ask for a bike reservation online and then wait up to 24 hours to get a reply before going ahead and buying rail ticket' option. If there are no spaces left I can try again with a different train - whoopee!
(As mentioned above, I have since discovered the Hull Trains mobile app but I am put off using it by the bad reviews. It won't be such a big deal when the ticket machine at Todmorden station has been fixed because then it would be a 3/4 mile round trip to get my tickets rather than 10 miles.)Dear Hull Trains boss ...

I'd still like the option to print my own ticket, but at least the machine at Hebden Bridge station was working today so I now have my tickets.
