How about one that tells people that the other thread that they are reporting has already been reported earlier in the thread that they are reporting in...?

Nope, just an enlightened country.

To be fair it is the best provision I've seen on German trains, it is quite special, I think the trains are built by the Canadian company Bombardier. During the summer it's not uncommon to have this carriage completely packed with all manner of different bikes.

In the Winter due to reduced demand, they actually fit a double row of seats in the middle, leaving either end free for a dozen bikes or so.

We have some similar provision here; between that and the Deutschland Ticket it's relatively easy to carry a bike on the train, and I have to remember not to take it for granted. Last week I was trundling all over the rural parts of southern Baden -Württemberg for interviews by bike and train, and it never occurred to me that there might not be a place for a bike. Even when I needed a reservation, I got one free in about five minutes.

Local authority funded not-for-profit cycle hubs that offer cycle training, help and advice to would-be/novice cyclists, as well as guided cycle tours to show people useful local cycling routes and where the cycle parking is.

Also guidance for employers and businesses on being bike friendly and using bicycles for local deliveries.

Buses with capacity to carry bikes. When I was in the states, I used buses with cycle carriers on the front.
They trialled buses with bike carriers (on the back) in the hilly Hebden Bridge area to help tired cyclists get up to the scenic roads above the town. They didn't get much use...

Probably because tired cyclists were told by the bus drivers that they needed bike reservations from at least the day before they got tired and needed them!
