250gm packs of margarine - where have they gone? Nothing but 500gm packs in the shops now - far too much for us, be rancid by the time we'd finish it. It doesn't freeze well either. It it demand or just a ploy by the manufacturers - if people consume such vast volumes of fat maybe that's why obesity rates remain stubbornly high.

Buy butter instead then. No chemical mucking about. Much better for you
