People (for example, me until very recently) who think 'its' when used in its possessive form has an apostrophe between the 't' and the 's'.
I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier post:Not getting it?
I may possibly have had beer

Fairynuff
Just as long as it isn't 'Hairymuff'
....Oh god you have got me all paranoid now, is it
'Which I liked'
O
'That I liked'??
:-)
Didn't pick up on this the first time I read this, and I can honestly say....I have no idea!
Which I'm glad about, still paranoid that I'm on the slippery slope to Points of View & The Radio Times complainers.
Actually, I seem to remember what must have been an April Fools joke in one of the railway magazines several years ago. Apparently, they were going to change the signs at station to be more easily read by people not so good at reading, I.e. they were to be spelt as they were said.
About the only one I can remember now was the proposal for
'Lundun Yoostin'
Surely if you're from London (which I am, but glad I'm not there now) it would be: Laaandaan Yuhstan ...which actually looks quite exotic.
It might even have been 'Lundin', but it was definitely 'Yoostin'.
'Norich', Nyewcasle, Carlyle, Edinburu Waverly.....
