A triumph of careful marketing and advertising over reality.

Quite why anyone would think that a company that abused slave Labour and decided it would be cheaper to gas its customers than make its cars genuinely low emissions would make aspirational product is beyond me.

Threads like this one and what's your worst car one some one started....!🤣

Nightclubbing and really busy pubs - I would much rather sit down have a meal and be served and I didn't mind a quiet pub but I hated 10 deep at the bar, 20 mins to get served, packed in crowds etc. Even as a 21 year old I did it because everyone else did it but I never really liked it.

Football - again did it because mates went but never really got the whole whole football culture/West Ham till I die type of thing and the endless statistical drone for three hours whenever you asked how was the game. Oh and pronouncing England - In-ger-land.

I think I was born 70 years old

That's me as well. I don't like going out now, unless it's a couple in our local which doesn't get too busy. We were "out on the town" on Saturday night and it was awful. Every pub was packed, people standing in every free space and not moving when you say excuse me. I can see why I used to get absolutely wasted in my late teens when I went clubbing, just to tolerate it all!

I also don't like the Football "scene". I went and watched Argyle when I was younger and I enjoyed watching the game, but all the aggressive chanting nonsense just killed it for me

Eating out and being served.

Me too. I didn't mind it when I visited restaurants with my mother, wife and daughter, but now I'm on my own there's no point. I'm also a bit uncomfy about being served. Having worked as a waiter myself, albeit many years ago, I feel a bit awkward about being on the other end. I'd just rather make my own food. It's much cheaper and I know more about it than I would with what's the kitchen like I wonder? restaurant food.
