Yet I drown a witch then suddenly I'm the bad guy. Whats that all about?

It's really simple, just read the rules. No drownings allowed, but you CAN throw a terrorist on a bonfire. (but only for the next fortnight).

Yep, fail to understand why this is so popular. The main story spanning seven books is so padded, it could have been just one. It focuses on his wizarding days in Hogwarts while Voldemort certainly takes his time for a second coming....I found many of the other characters far more interesting than Harry who struck me as being a bit dull.

That means that JKR got you to read seven books instead of one, and therefore made lots more money!

I had planned to write a seven part series of books but decided that six of them were just padding so I cut it down to just the one. Then I decided that the plot was weak so I abandoned the idea!

Based on my experience with kids, I suggest you try them again when you are 8 years old.

Watching TV.

I find most of it mindless drivel. If I was single it’s doubtful I’d own one. Prefer to spend my time on the net researching stuff I’m truly interested in….

I've been single for over seven years. I have a television in my living room, but I haven't turned it on since November 2019.

My experience is similar, although it has been occasionally turned on to watch a DVD, when I've had company. I think maybe that last happened in 2020.

The pivotal moment was when I moved flat. I used to be an avid recorder of numerous programmes, with multiple DVD recorders and intricate planning to record programmes that were on simultaneously.

Once I moved, the TV and assorted gadgets were in their boxes, in the corner of the packed room. Unpacking it wasn't a priority at the time, so the task got left for days, weeks, months...

Before I knew it, I'd given up watching TV. The world didn't end, which was a bonus.

They split the last book into two movies presumably for that reason. I see they're doing it as a TV series....yawn. JK must be down a few million quid.
