That's why I generally stay away, half of it seems to be unscary crap.
I do like a good old scary 'jump out of your skin' film. Incideous started that way (I loved the gas mask scene) before it ran out of money half way through the film and became just odd!
I must confess to enjoying a quality Zombie film though. For those that want the best of both worlds, I strongly recommend 'REC'. A bit different and I wouldn't go near my loft for weeks!
Thought I'd seen a thread on here recently so excuse the bump!
Went to see the film Saturday and was really looking forward to it. Totally spoiled by the amount of 10 - 13 yr olds, obviously bored or could not be arsed to get into the film. Feet on headrests, phones going non-stop, food thrown, talking, giggling ... rant rant rant. We walked out about 45 minutes in.
Never again would I bother going to see a '12'.
I watched this last week. It was a Hull cinema and unfortunately there was a gang of kids in the front rows who got on some kind of high during the very lengthy pre-film bits and didn't seem to be watching the main film at all. People were telling them to shut up but it kinda wrecked the atmosphere. Why did they bother to go?
Have now acquired the 1989 dvd to watch at home.
