Freind has a V50 and it's not a proper Volvo imho
Ride worse than the Skoda Octavia I've brought.

Insurance is too high on proper ones! Group 30 ISH...

When we were looking for another car, in March 2012, after the hateful C-Max, it was a toss-up between a V50 (another 'school run dad' had one), or an Octavia estate
We bought the Octavia (as a 1.6TDi)
Over 9 years, & 160.000miles later, it was a sad goodbye

Spotted near wifes office, when l nipped over earlier this morning

A guy near us has a 250 est and a 740. He often can be seen towing older Volvo’s around. I don’t think they’re his daily drivers.

I’m not sure if it was the same XC90 or not, but…

I was driving home from my parents house about 16:10, & from the opposite direction came a XC90, in black/very dark grey
It had (amber) marker-lights/red tail-lights on (I guess?) the roof-rack

Plus, rather curiously painted/powder-coated wheels in a ‘spearmint green’!!

Sorry, no photographs, but, l’ll take the SD card out of the dash-cam later (or tomorrow) & have a look to copy an image

The XC70 has had some love recently, eventually I fitted the new(second hand) drivers carpet as it was ripped and generally tired.
Aug seen a full service and MOT, advisory for disc and pads which will probably need doing by the next MOT judging by the mileage I do.
I had to replace a temp coolant sensor as it was running rough last week and the temp gauge was up and down like a shopping centre lift, once fitted we celebrated with a trip to see the illuminations which were a little bit of a let down this year but the youngest rugrat enjoyed it, 52mpg my '05 managed from Rochdale and back....needs washing now!
