Got up at 5.40am here in Lowestoft: ready to go out for a run. Was clear of ice / frost / snow last night when i went to bed. Not now !

Sun is now coming out and its incredibly bright here for 6.50am at the start of March. We’ll see what the day brings 🤷‍♂️

Snow avoided last night, now predicted for Monday into Tuesday. Probably does need to be some more to meet the old tale of it having to snow again to get rid of the lot. Most had gone immediately around bar where it was piled up on in drive/road clearing but not that far away in normal local cycling territory it's still deep on the fields (photo grabbed from a video of tractor run this morning in support of the Air Ambulance)

I'm on holiday this week. Which explains why I am laid up with a chest infection and a course of amoxicillin. Not that it matters, but the weather is looking grim too. Here is today...

I did have some optimistic plans to cover some miles on a bike, but that won't be happening. Can hardly catch my breath after climbing a flight of stairs!

OMG!! That's the sort of weather bomb thing that they forecast in the Daily Express; enough snow there to bring London and the south east to a standstill for a week. 🤣🤣

Cheers - just downloaded the App from Play Store.

My favourite weather site is windy.com. I find it best for accuracy, ease of use, and useful information. From the maps and movement of weather systems you can take a good guess at the weather well beyond the 10 days that they show.

I find this one useful too, not least because of the graphics showing wind direction.

It says there will be some serious hooleys being blown locally in the next 24h...
