Did you take Gerald home with you?

reminds me of the maltesers ad " this is Gerald " old guy eating the bag of Maltesers and introduced to old ladys family " hello " smiles and infers ( I am banging your granny ) as we call it in Ireland "stamping her pension book "

Mrs P would have done. He's an abandoned twin. He was the firstborn of the pair but the mother ignored him, didn't lick him clean, etc. Our friends who keep these sheep are bottle feeding him.

The breed is Soay and they usually have a single lamb. It's not unusual for one of a pair to be rejected.
At times it seems there's something passed down to the second one, that see's it dying despite the best attempts at keeping it alive.

Well that was a day and a half. Managed to get patio doors sorted but boy what a job. Hinges needed replacing as inevitably the screws were solid. Doors weigh a ton so roped in eldest daughter to assist. Much faffing and cursing and got it done.
Then mowed our frankly enormous lawn so multiple trips to tip needed to take cuttings. Filled up 8 big builders bags!

Just finished so go into house and the wife says "do you want the bad news". Shower in ensuite leaking and water coming through ceiling.
Marvellous....
