Just come back from my wife's sister's

Turned out that a full Easter dinner was planned for the whole family - include us and the 2 girl's brother and his "wife" and son
plus all their 3 kids and partners/kids
(well - one partner buggered off a while ago and one kid has a weird mother and neither of them have been seen for a few years but the rest of the extended family anyway)

Nice Lamb cooked by their daughter who is taking over as family host from her Mum - under supervision

then a session about makeup between my wife and the daughter that did the cooking - they are trying to find the right blend of "stuff" for her skin so it can look good all day at The Wedding when her skin goes red as it does when she is hot or stressed or had a drink
and it is the wedding of her only son - so .....


Anyway - all went well

my brother-in-law got shouted at by his children for being incredibly dumb - which is normal - so expected
but honestly I have no clue how anyone can be so think and still breath!!!

anyway - dinner was very nice and it was a good evening

Good morning all.
The first of the bin lorries are outside the house, that will be the recycling one. The general rubbish one will follow soon.
It's been raining 🌧 overnight, and there is some more later on coming our way.
MrsP is volunteering at the wildlife rescue centre this morning and i will be continuing the exercise regime, i might pump the tyres up on my Brompton and just try a couple of hundred yards around the block to see how the knee feels.

Luckily, we've planned to drive because all the trains into Euston appear to be cancelled 😶

Ours always come on a Monday, bank holiday or not. The only time it changes is over the Christmas period.

Here in Oz bins are collected on the designated daytpublic holiday or not. They probably get exorbitant penalty rates for doing so.
