Temporary traffic lights near my house.
It's a 3 way junction and all the lights are stuck on red. It's horrendous. Some people say "sod it" and go while more timid drivers are just sat there.
We were in the "sod it" camp and just pulled out, the driver in front of us is probably still sat there.

I’ve finally used my bus pass after nearly 6 years of owning it. My neighbour along the road drives for a local taxi firm who run a mini bus between Comrie and St Fillans on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so I drove to Comrie to give the car a run then hopped on the bus to St Fillans and walked back on the cycle path.

Good afternoon all.
The painkillers must be affecting my brain.
Before I carry on I will say I kind of needed some new Adidas Samba trainers. So I bought a pair, then I bought some posher Adidas Spezial trainers. Then, my 'phone is 7 years old and the battery life is not that good, and the memory is almost full, so I splashed out on a Samsung Galaxy S24fe and a case.
The bank balance has taken a bit of a hammering.😂

A good flexibility/balance test is to go from a standing position to sitting on the floor without your hands/arms touching any part of your body, and then reverse to the upright position with the same constraint. The 'down' must be completed in a controlled fashion.

I find the sock test easy and the second test doable but hard.
Whoo, Superman over there!!! I just tried that. The ambulance should be here within the next 3 days or so.

I have decided to re do the front porch. It's only small but as per usual it's crammed with stuff belonging to Mr WD. There were things on the shelves that he couldn't remember he had. Has has complained a lot about me asking him do you want this and when he says yes of course, i throw it in the bin ( only the really rubbish stuff).

I have a bit of a dilemma. I need to start looking for a new car within the next 2 or 3 months. Do I go for a brand new car that will hopefully Last me 14 years like my present car and will probably be my last one or do I go for a second hand one that costs quite a bit, won't last as long as my present one has and I probably won't have enough money to buy another car unless Uncle Ernie comes up Trumps. Decisions decisions

What about a nearly new.
The fiesta we bough7 years ago was an ex lease car, it was 7 months old and had only done 3500 miles. It was in as new condition and was £8500 less than the new price. Plus it came with 2 1/2 years of the manufacturers warranty left.
It could be worth looking around for something like this.
