Morning. It’s cold and foggy so I was in no hurry to get up.

The sun is up and it's going to be another lovely day.
Last night's Magic of Motown gig at the Alban arena was superb. The singers and the backing band were excellent and they did 2, 1 hour sets.
Today we are off to the Nene Valley Railway near Peterborough. The Flying Scotsman 60103 is there amongst other locomotives. MrsP has booked tickets for a round trip on the train hauled by it for my birthday present which is tomorrow.

Good morning from a sunny Dorset. Up in the loft yesterday lifting loft boards trying to trace the circuit for the upstairs lights. I was kitted out like a SOC forensics officer complete with face mask and goggles. Despite precautions I still got itchy from the old fibreglass insulation and it was straight under the shower when I got down from the loft.
Mrs Tkk is recovering well from yesterday's tumble and will venture forth on a gentle run this morning 🏃‍♀️

I do love me a bit of Motown! As a youngster frequenting the Top Rank and other Birmingham city centre venues back in the 60's and 70's I was fortunate to see the Four Tops a couple of times, Jonnie Johnson and the Bandwagon etc, and to have front row table seats to a Doris Troy performance. I could identify most Motown tracks as soon as I heard the opening bars, and they would draw me to the dance floor like a moth to a flame 😁

I am about to watch last night's MoTD, they show it again this morning but if I record it I can fast forward the boring bits.

Morning all .Its a one off , three race series at the sailing club today. Wish me luck , I will need it. I had cramp before the end of one race last week. 😂😀
At least it looks like it’s going to be another lovely day .

Morning all

Grass cutting and going for a walk this morning, before lunching at the Railway Inn.
The West Somerset Railway are getting ready for the opening weekend, in a couple of weeks time. Lots of loco whistles and shunting going on at the Williton diesel depot yesterday.
I expect to see a few engines going past our place next week as they move things around.
