Bonjour. I have some very sad news this morning. One of my brothers passed away during the night. He was 79. I am waiting to hear when the cremation is going to be so I can go over. It is likely to be early next week.

Very sad news.
My best wishes to you and your family.

I have had no side effects in the year since being prescribed statins, and since going on them the amount of people who I have met that are on them is quite amazing.
It would appear to me that this is a preventative measure by the government/NHS to try to slow hospital admissions for strokes and heart attacks.

Totally agree. I am not on them yet, but I have had that conversation with a doctor about going on them . ( It was decided to kick that can down the road for a bit 😀).
But I did do my own research and asked around my friends of a similar age or older and have no problem going on them when the times comes. Nearly all of my friends are on them and none of them have had any side effects at all.

Morning all . What a lovely day . Mrs exlaser and I have had a gently ride out for coffee and a tea cake ( how old person is that 😂) Nice to stretch the legs again , first cycle of the year.
We are now home and changed and drinking even more coffee . 😀
Mrs exlaser is off to meet a friend for lunch in a bit so I will probably potter around in the garden for a bit this afternoon. Living the dream .

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have just seen a bee. Seems too early. Hope he survives as the nights are still very cold.
Also, my grandson is mowing the garden. So spring is officially here

I have heard a few bumblebees over the last few days

We've had a couple of Bumble bees visit this morning. The front section of our front garden is given over to various varieties of lavender, it certainly attacts the bees 🐝

The Lloyd's TSB banking ap is the biggest load of shoot on the planet.

I’ve found it ok, but I don’t do a lot on it apart from checking balances and occasionally transferring money between accounts.

My neighbour from along the road is away with my mountain bike. I think he’s going straight out for a spin. Hope it’s ok or he’ll be back for his dosh.
