I borrow a cup of hot water from next door, and, return a cup of cold water 😂

Spent a fruitful hour in my workshop fabricating a pair of adjustable plates out of 8mm mild steel strip and some rectangular box section, for my hydraulic press. Will come in handy for numerous jobs.

Mr WD can do just about anything himself. He even re-wired out house years ago. Necessity is the mother of invention after all. My son is exactly the same. The only thing he won't tackle is electrics and gas.

That is a very circular thread and tbh has gotten virtually nowhere in the time it has been running.

Like many things in life there are those that do and those that don't and never the twain shall meet.

As far as I can remember no one has ever shifted from their entrenched starting position. 🤷‍♂️

It's such a potentially hot topic that helmet discussions are only allowed by Shaun in that thread.

Yep. I read three or four pages and thought to myself I read exactly the same views and opinions on another forum 10+ years ago.

I think Shaun is a very wise man.

Of course, we never waste leftovers. I find at 5.55pm on a Friday this can be delicious:

1. Select a favourite glass
2. Chink in a couple of large cubes
3. Add 60ml of gin - preferably Aviation
4. Top up with a quality tonic - Fevertree plain
5. Add a slice of fresh lime
6. Add a generous squeeze of fresh lime juice
7. Sit down
8. Open the Guardian crossword
9. Repeat if desired

It's terrible to waste water.......
