Good morning all.
A very bright but frosty start to the day here.
A nice longish dog walk this morning MrsP wants to come as it's sunny, so we will walk via the fields, then call into the Vets to weigh Millie and then we will stop at a cafe for coffee.
There is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell, then our daughter is calling in this evening.
My day seems full.😁

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Coooooeeee. -1 here and very frosty. I've been busy starting an oxtail casserole so that's in the slow cooker now.

Stay safe peeps :hello:

Good morning from a sunny but chilly Poole. Must get a haircut today, and get some cash out to pay the lad who turned up a couple of days ago to rake out and repoint the brickwork on the outhouse.
Kitchen floor is latexed and levelled, walls and ceiling plastered, PVA'd and painted ( 2 coats Primer, 2 coats of Dulux " Diamond Matt " ) ready for the units to start to arrive. They're pre assembled, so as I've no storage they are arriving in sequence.
@Mo1959 , you were talking about my recent lottery win😉 and my " splashing the cash ". Talking with the Matt, guy doing our kitchen, the job before mine was a bit " spendy ". A couple of accountants who are London based and quite eccentric, own a property in Canford Cliffs a very expensive suburb of Poole. It's a very big penthouse. He said they had custom made stone worktops among other specific requirements and ended up spending over £130K 😮😮

Morning all :hello:

Yay! You know what...:hungry::cheers:
Nice and sunny, but cool here.
Will be having a stroll down to the harbour at lunchtime.
First day of March tomorrow - and Watchet slowly stirs from its' winter hibernation. We have the first street fayre on Sunday and the steam trains start running in 3 weeks time.

Morning all . It’s a cool start where in Coventry , no fog though. Waiting for it to warm up a bit before going to do a job on the car . One of the front parking sensors has fallen back into the bumper a little, causing the warning to off randomly. I see if I can get at it from underneath. If the whole bumper has to be dropped to get at it , it will have to go to my local garage , I know my limitations 😀
Have a good day folks

Good Morning. A very heavy frost last night but another beautiful day is on the way. Yesterday was warm once the sun got up. I have just done something very unusual, for me,.......eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast. Where did that come from?

I'm not really sure about today. I'm at a bit of a loose end. Mrs P has immunotherapy which rules out riding as I'm on taxi service. The house is clean and tidy and with the heavy frost working on the allotment potentially does more harm than good. I do have to make some decisions re my PI claim and have a long email from the solicitors read again. I've got a difficult email to write to my son's care providers, difficult in the sense I need to get the wording right. I have information that I shouldn't have, this is often the case, and I have to protect my source!!

I'll probably pop down to the LBS for a natter about a new bike.
