Beautiful day here day, did a couple of hours of work (nothing too strenuous, only bookkeeping) and then pottered into town for a coffee.

I then jet washed all the salt off the bottom of my motorbike and let it dry out thoroughly in the sun, I then hit the Weber with some Mr Muscle and the jet wash, all now ready for the lighter evenings (had it 10 years now and although it is looking a bit tatty, it works brilliantly and we use it all through the summer), it definitely is starting to feel a bit more spring like!

Just come back from a ride - just over 20 miles

The total mileage on this bike is now showing as 9975 - so soon to get to 10,000!!!

bike is very muddy - just having a cuppa then I'll try to find the hosepipe in the shed and hose it down
there is definitely something wrong as the gears slipped and nearly threw me off as I came back through town!!!

This morning I spent 3 hours removing 4 seized crankcase screws from a Bantam engine.
Very tricky job to do without damaging the cases that I want to save (steel screws seized in 60+ year old alloy). Much drilling, heating, oiling and head scratching involved (and a bit of cussing).
Only 2 more to go and I can remove the crank.
That's a job for next week.

Once the kids are dropped off at school, we had a clear run till 3 pm...what to do ?
Off to Dobbies for a cuppa and fried breakfast....seems 95% of the clientele were 'of that age'. Seems to be the place to go ?

Went to do a bit of homework, comparing the Skoda Kodiak and Karoq, probably got a salesman excited 😀...

Had the engineer out to our Ebac washing machine nothing serious, it's a bit reluctant to complete a spin cycle, these new machines are sooo sensitive.
