Enough of this frivolity. Good Morning. Grey, blowy and chilly. #1SP today. I have just finished playing shopkeepers with her. Nana has taken over on the painting front as I have phone calls to make. Later this afternoon we're off to the play park to see the guinea pigs, rabbits other small creatures and play of slides etc. At 5.00pm she is going to Rainbows* for the first time. Long story but she has asked me to take her. I'm rather proud of this but worried what Mum will think????

My phone calls are to Sky and Scottish Power...............:headshake:

* Rainbows for the non-grandparents is Girl Guides aged 4 - 7.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am with Octopus Energy. They sent me an email about locking my costs into a 18 month tariff that keeps the price it is now. I can cancel it at any time I want. I saw that electricity prices are due to go up by about 6%, so that'll do me.

The bin is here as well, so cottage pie it is for the 3 of us.

Hello Folks have you missed me? I've missed you lot. We had a nice trip to London staying at Putney Bridge Premier Inn. Found a brilliant " Proper " Irish pub that only charged £11.40 for 2 pints which is quite the bargain in London. Saturday saw us run Fulham Palace parkrun which went past the football ground and along part of the Thames Tow Path. Saturday afternoon was granddaughters 6th birthday held at a play centre with a couple of dozen screamy kids throwing themselves into ball pits and clambering over the soft play area. Late Saturday afternoon saw me back at the hotel with Noro Virus. 36 hours in bed in a confused state and partially recovered, so was able to make the train back to Poole late yesterday afternoon. Mrs Tkk has just succumbed to it so it's my turn to be nurse.
Taking a positive from it all, I have been carrying too much weight for several months now, so the effects of the Noro Virus have given me a head start in shedding a few pounds.🤔
