The persistent rain and wind is getting to me. garden is soggy everywhere with muddy puddles aplenty. The 2 dogs are picking their way gingerly around trying to avoid footbaths when I bring them out to do their business. Her indoors is gone away for 4 days to a meditation and yoga retreat and I have set about spring cleaning and clearing out rooms full of stuff which accumulated in house but should be in shed , etc. This winter has been an endurance test , I am totally knackered and stopping for a toasted cheese sambo and a giant mug of tea. " If Winter comes can Spring be far behind ?" .. YES it bloody well can !!

Well, sailing went as planned . Four brave sailers decided to sail . One changed their mind on the slipway and three sailors started . We had five capsizes and had to do two rescues ( one after the race had finished ) and had two finishers.
Everyone said they enjoyed themselves so it was well worth the effort. 😀
Now sat drinking coffee and watching some cycling on the tv while I still can .

Well that's Sunday lunch cooked whilst on crutches. MrsF has been out all day so has had lunch. Only me and daughter. I have finally perfected my Yorkshire Pud mix. Son went off in a huff as I asked him to check the oil, hoover and wash a car we lent him 3 weeks ago as his are broken. He didn't do any and drove off. The car was immaculate 3 weeks ago. It's now grey and like a dump inside. It was bright blue.

Time he moved out for this trainee pensioner.

MrsF is sort of semi retired. Packed in a job where the bosses were terrible and they messed up some HR issues so she walked with quite a few months pay a year ago. She's now happy working a day a week in a local fabric shop (pig in mud). Daft thing is, I'm having to plan my work leave around the day a week she's in work. They have to give a few months notice, where I can just say I'm having a few days off with very little notice.
