My Schwalbe Marathon Supreme has retired. I don't keep records but must have done 15000 to 18000 km.

Good morning all fellow retirees.
Another grey, damp and cold day in prospect here.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10pm.
All the usual things to do today, dog walking, domestics and I'll be out on the bike later for an hour or so to keep the legs ticking over.
I have mislaid the little front wheel chock to lift the wheel up on the bike that is mounted on the turbo. I have put an old piece of floorboards under the wheel at the moment but it is really frustrating me. I have put it somewhere in the shed, I can remember moving it a couple of weeks back, but for the life of me I can't find it.😡

I watched 2 films yesterday.
A. The Magnifcent 7 (original). Long time since I've watched it but really enjoyed it.
B. A WW1 film called Before Dawn. Based on genuine diaries, it was very moving.

Sainsbugs have delivered the cupboards and fridge are now stocked enough essential goodies until next week.
Our son who is currently in Australia for a few weeks wants us to go to his place on Friday as he is having a new front door frame fitted. The company messaged him yesterday saying they want to come this week🙄
Thats friday sorted.

Good morning folks,
After a very busy weekend moving the last of the stuff into the extension while the old kitchen is being removed and the new fitted. I keep going into the now empty kitchen before realising the stuff I want is no longer there. The IKEA Kallax storage units that housed our Bromptons have been repurposed as storage units for various bits and bobs, once all is finally finished they will go back under the stairs.
