Well, I left the car too long between runs this time so it wouldn’t start. Fortunately I had anticipated my stupidity and purchased a portable jump starter a few months ago. I really must get into the habit of using it at least once per week.

I took a run into Perth and got some shopping in Lidl for a change to give it a decent run.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Another wander done while the :sun: is out.

I just had one of the little easy peelers I bought in Lidl. Must be the sweetest, juiciest, orangiest (is that a word?) tangerines I’ve ever had. I think their fruit and veg seem a lot better than our Aldi.

Just come back from the Hospital

Follow up consultation about my Coeliac diagnosis from October
Got there early and booked in

It all got a bit confusing as they had my wife down as Jackie - and as a partner not wife

which was weird as I was there a few days ago and they had the right info then

after some faffing about it turns out that 2 people with the same First and Second name has appointments this afternoon in the same clinic!!!

and my name is not ALL that common!

funny thing is that a few years ago I fell off my bike and broke my arm - and in the fracture clinic there was ALSO another bloke with the same first and second name!!!!

Wonder if it was the same bloke

Having said that my name os not all that common
my wife and her sister have both got the same married surname

and I and damn sure I am not related to her sister's husband's family
Yes Gods I hope we are not related - he is pretty much the thickest being I have ever met and we have precisely zero in common!!!

Back from a pleasant 15 mile bimble around the telephone box libraries of Boughton, Moulton, Holcot & Pitsford to swap my books over.
Lovely & quiet on the roads & the crunchy puddled reservoir trail in just above freezing sunshine ☀️

S’up? Taking the Škoda in first thing to investigate the engine management light - I believe it’s a lambda sensor failure. Will have to de-ice the windscreen first. Then off to pick up my new laptop, bought with the proceeds of my former colleagues’ whip round.

Škoda fixed - the garage agreed with me, fitted a new lambda sensor, drives lovely again.

Quiche and beans for tea.
