Morning. I could hear the rain so stayed in my cosy bed for longer.

It might brighten up by lunch time.

Good morning all.
It's a damp, grey start to the day here.
Uncle Ernie has been kind again this month, £200 for myself and £275 for MrsP. 😁
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10, then I'll be out with Millie for an hour or so.
I'll do another session on the turbo down in my man cave this afternoon.
Plus anything else that needs doing during the day.

Good morning. Wet and windy!! A bad night's sleep has left me feeling "hungover" without the benefit of having a good time the night before.

Today? I'm off to collect #1SP at 8.00. I think Nana will take her swimming this morning. I may go back to bed. I need to pop down to the LBS at some point. I fell off the bike yesterday and the front shift is out. I can't work out how to adjust it. All this new fangled electronic stuff. I'm a bit nervous of my usual pull it away from the frame approach. 🤣

that might as well be written in Russian, I have absolutely no idea what any of that means !

Which bit of it don’t you understand, and, I will attempt to translate. 😊

Have you changed the admin password on your router, or, had it changed for you?

If not, your router is, in all probability, vulnerable,

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It's gone dark now, windy and it's raining as well I'm glad I got my washing done yesterday.

Pottering it is then.

On which point - security is also a good reason to change the SSID and password when the router is replaces - in spit of the problems

In a normal sub-urban area then chances fo it being hacked are very low

but non-zero
so an occasional change to the details is a good idea and a change of hardware is an opportunity to do it

still a lot of trouble with kids and cars and loads of other gubbins

May I ask how did you manage to fall off the bike and are you ok?

In other news - I was back at the hospital yesterday for some tests

MRI was freaky - lots fo noises and stuff - sounded like being in the middle of some sort of Star Wars combat game

and no idea of how long it had to go or how much time had passed!!

anyway - came back just fine
apparently my brain look perfectly normal

(although there does seem to be an opinion that this shows their machine needs adjusting!!)

so no lasting damage - apparently!!!!

they wanted to do another test but they had no slots available so I have to go back today
which is a pain as they also said it was a "mini stroke" so I'm not allowed to drive - legally - for 1 month

(they have not mentioned cycling - and I didn;t ask
SWMBO seems to think I should stay off roads on my bike for a week or so
her sister thinks I am mad even considering cycling on roads!!!)

anyway - so - I have to go back this morning
no-one is available to give us a lift so it'll have to be a taxi - about 15 quid each way!!!

but at least I'm not going mad or anything!

Fell asleep in one of them years ago, despite the noise.
The snoring gave it away.
