Morning. Just 1 degree and a bit misty so might take a bit longer for daylight to appear. I noticed a difference yesterday when the sky was clear.

Good morning. I've been awake for hours but only just made coffee. I can see today is going to be a grind, I'm totally lacking in motivation. I need to fix that.

Mrs P has immunotherapy this morning. I have to drop her at the clinic and then head off to do some mundane stuff. Supermarket, bank, cheap shelving and lining for the new shed. It's this stuff that's leaving me poorly motivated.

I must clean my bike this afternoon. Wednesday's ride was on wet, filthy lanes. I'm embarrassed to turn up for the Saturday ride on something that looks like it's been on a CX event!!!! 🤣

Yay! Fish Friday!
Probably going to the White Horse for their excellent fish & chips at lunchtime.
Yesterday, I checked out my garden machinery to make sure everything started and ran properly after winter storage; always a good thing to do, to prevent frustration when you decide to do the first cut of the year only to find that your mower/trimmer won't work.

When we had our first shed installed a couple of decades ago I was humming and hawing about what shelves bench etc to put in it. I went away for a few days to compete in a race. When I got back I discovered that while I'd been away Mrs Tkk had been to MFI ( remember them? " Made For Idiots " 😁 ) and purchased, and installed a load of units along the window side of the shed (12') complete with worktop 😎
It was only the budget range, but I didn't complain too much 😉

Oh, and having caught up with the " how old are you " part of the thread, I will be 76 in May, We're heading to Edinburgh for my birthday and both Mrs Tkk and myself are down to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon a couple of days later🤞

Yep! Yesterday I discovered our Stihl rechargeable battery won't charge. It's impossible to know if it's the charger or the battery. Everything was good ten days ago.

We need a new mower. Our lawn is very small and doesn't warrant a big petrol mower. I share the mower with my next door but one neighbour. We've decided to get a corded, small electric mower. This is because neither of us feel confident carrying a heavy petrol mower down from my allotment.

The old mower is staying on the allotment to use there. The height adjustment is nackered so I have to play with that.
