Good morning. The Met Office tells me it should be persisting down. It isn't which is a good thing as I have a guy coming to prepare the pad for our new summer house/shed.

That aside it's #1SP day and this evening the slightly mighty Rovers are at home to the even less mighty Coventry City. My boys are in danger of letting our promotion chances slip. We need more consistency after losing to the hardly mighty at all Oxford on Saturday.

👋👋

Let's hope that loss was just a blip.

Now....... you won't know this but all us old farts (minus you) have had a meeting and want an invite to the grand opening of your summer house when it is built. Please advise.

Good morning all.
The forecast says it should be a misty start to the day here, but it isn't. Some light cloud and it is chilly.
Sainsburys are delivering the weekly goodies this morning.
After walking the dog, I'll load up the bike and head off up the road.
I found dozens of carrier bags tucked into a cupboard yesterday, so I will deposit them in Waitrose, as they have a bag recycling bin in store. I also have some stuff to drop off at a charity shop and then I'll go to the post office to get some Euros . I know you can pay for almost everything by card now but I like to have some cash available in my pocket.
I might treat myself to an ale or two in the Mitre on the way home.
Another busy day in paradise.

Free day today, so a lazy start, I’ve already booked our Skoda Citigo in for a service, later a trip to the tip and charity shop (my daughter is back from university and has had a huge clear out :hyper:) this afternoon up to Banbury as my son has his driving test booked in there and we want to get familiar with the streets surrounding the test centre.

Good morning, just caught up with the thread, I'd only missed a few pages. Tuesday walking group and blue bin day, plus veg box.
Mrs Tkk has been seeing the physio to treat a hamstring pull, fortunately it has responded well to treatment and she is starting to pick up her training for her birthday run in March. After todays walk she will hand be her jacket and backpack and then run / walk along the trailway to home. As I write this the sun has broken through the clouds and it feels like spring is on its way☀️
