Well, I got that wrong. The consultant appointment was arranged by my solicitors to double check my eyes, face, etc. prior to completing the claim. This of course made it very worthwhile and far from a waste of time and money!! It only took 15 minutes and given the guy has access to my NHS records he probably didn't need to see me but hey ho......

Ironing next and then a 40 minute walk, which by Mo's standards would be a brief stroll!

Hello you lot

for some reason this thread didn;t appear on my alerts

whatever
currently 5 degree and the white stuff is all melting

Have rung the hotel for my wife's son;s wedding (i.e. she will be mother-of-the-groom
I will be hanger-on-of-the-mother-of-the-groom and looker afterer of the grandkids
i.e. fishing them out of the hotel lake and ignoring of all instructions to keep them clean (it's me - telling me to keep kids clean is just silly!)

anyway - we were booked into the hotel for the night after the wedding but the hotel wouldn;t let us book in for the night before - just in case there was another wedding booked for that day
but they have given up with that idea dn not we can book the room
or we can once we can get in contact with the right person - or something

also rang the pharmacy about my gluten free bread prescription because when they get the stuff in if not a precise thing and I am new to this

anyway all done
no answers from either

I’ve started taking fish oil again and also eating a bit more oily fish as well. See if it helps the aches and pains.

I eat a lot of Sardine's and other oily fish. The only thing I’ve noticed is my cholesterol has dropped from borderline. The only other thing I’ve noticed that’s a little concerning is the scaly skin growing between my fingers and toes. Might try and see if I can breathe under water. Now we’re did I put the ants 🐜 eggs

I actually like sardines too. Heck of a price range on them, ranging from around 50p a tin for supermarket own brands all the way up to around £6 a can for fancy brands. I only seem to be able to get them in sunflower oil or tomato sauce locally. I think I prefer olive oil.

Bread from a pharmacy ???

Yup - diagnosed with Coeliac Disease so I can;t eat anything containing gluten
i.e wheat, rye and barley mostly
hence can;t eat normal bread and the NHS guidelines mean that I can get a certain amount of bread on prescription
also anything with pastry - if Greggs sell it I can;t eat it!

In Scotland (and maybe Wales and NI - not sure) then you can include cakes and buns and stuff like that

only applies in some areas and sometimes to some GPs - for "reasons"
