Hello everybody. My name is Baby G, I'm only one. My Granddad comes on here sometimes so I thought I should tell you about him. Do you know what? This is the third day in a row he's looked after me and my cousin. He's very brave. Last night he came to stay over as my Mummy had to get up very, very, very early to go to work.........even I thought it was very, very, very early. Anyway I heard Mummy leave at 5.00 so I thought I should shout Granddad...............my head needed stroking before I had another sleep. It got to about 6.30 and he still hadn't given me a snuggle, so I shouted him again. He gave me a nice snuggle until I told him it was 7.00 and we really should get ready for nursery. Don't tell him I said this but he did everything very well. I didn't have to shout at him once for getting things wrong..........we were 10 minutes late for nursery but he was so good at everything else I've let him off that..........

.........oh there was one thing. He doesn't do plaits!!!!! I mean what's a girl to do????? Bad hair or what? I did hear him ask one of the nice ladies at my nursery if she could do it for him. So that was good enough I suppose.

I remember when I was in hospital when the kids were young, Mr WD had to bring our daughter so that I could plait her gait. It was beyond what he was capable of doing 😆

There is life!

Is it chilly up your end Pete? -2C this side of town.

Just had a look at the outside thermometer and it is -5°C.

Despite being well insulated the house (det.bungalow) is proving hard to keep warm without the open fire supporting the CH.

On its own the CH can maintain a 23-24°C differential.

Clear blue sky and the snow that fell yesterday is frozen solid.

We have decided to go shopping today. My drive is quite steep but I think I will be able to get up it.

Good luck!

Mrs SD is off to do the weekly shop this morning.

We have a 13 degree hill out of the village. I am going to walk it to see if it is iced or not.

Too minor a road to get gritted by the council!

I would like to congratulate you on your grammatical content and the way you articulate yourself is laudable for someone of your immature years.

When my daughter was about 10 she NEEDED her hair plaiting before she could go to school
so I did it for her

she never asked me again
dunno why - it was nearly central

to be fair to me - I have no clue why she thought it was a good idea to ask me as I had had zero experience of doing it so it wasn;t bad for a first attempt!!

ANyway - checked the temperature via the local weatehr stations on Wundermap
and they say it is -1
first time I have seen them beloe freezing this winter
so I'm not goin gout until M&S send me an email to say I have something to collect!!!
