We won't be having our Christmas dinner till tonight as grand daughter is working till 3 pm ( she is a nurse) and have to drive here from Cardiff afterwards. At least, the M5 should be clear of cars.
So no opening of presents till she gets here.

Christmas dinner......and I'm only forcing this down to stop MrsD nagging me.

Well - SWMBO is on the phone to her brother

and has been for an hour or so - she doesn;t get to see him that often so they tend to take a while for a catch up

anyway - turkey is in and will be another hour
veg are all pealed - except for the ones in the freezer - mushy peas (yuk - better than cheese but not by much!!) and broad beans

not had any alcohol yet - but did decalre it Christmas yesterday evening and have a beer and christened as bottle of single malt

Turkey has to rest - dunno why as it is just lying there while I am doing all the running round, chopping, slicing and worrying
but that'll give me time to do the rest

probably should lay the table at some point!

anyway - going OK so far - hope you lot are OK

I had a little spin in Italy on Fulgaz. I am green with envy. Lovely quiet side roads and cycle tracks, blue sky and sunshine and never seen so many cyclists. Makes you realise just how crap the UK is for cycling.
