Back from the Yarmouth Hippodrome Crimbo Spectacular last evening and as ever, absolutely amazing - ! ^_^
Having been to the Blackpool Tower Circus a few weeks ago, we can confidently say that the Hippodrome blows the Tower Circus out of the water in every respect. :okay:
Always a great show.

Right dinner eaten and decision made

we are no going anywhere tomorrow - no family visiting as usual as we are both exhausted and have "something"

so we can;t go to see her family as her sister is vulnerable at the moment due to drugs the dr has her on

and risking giving it to the grand kids and all that lot would be a bad idea
so we will ask their Dad to bring them down on Boxing Day for presents etc

will be a weird Christmas

but that's probably the right thong at the moment
plenty of booze in the house
and far too much food

so we'll be OK

Bonjour tout le monde from a wet and cloudy Devon but not really cold.
The women are watching " Virgin River " on Netflix so I thought I would let you know that all is well here. I am upstairs, lying on the bed with Molly next to me.

Yesterday morning, we got up to see that Carole's dog, Maisy, managed to get into a tin of Celebrations chocolate during the night. There were wrappers everywhere on the floor so a trip to the vet was done and she had a stomach pump. £102 later,, Maisy is fine

Luckily, Molly sleeps with us and the bedroom door was shut so she couldn't join her.

The vet said it happens a lot over the Christmas period. Nice little earner for them.

Who didn't put the lid on properly then?

I phoned my brothers earlier and they are preparing for the most important meal of the year, the Christmas meal which they have on Christmas eve in France.
First, they have an aperitif between 7 and 8 pm and then the meal from 8 pm till about midnight . Then they play games after that till 3 or 4 am.
They do the sane again on new year's eve. These two meals are called: Reveillon.
It is a long time since I have done that.

I'll see on the other side of Christmas, folks. Enjoy the rest of the evening and, whatever you plan to do on Christmas Day, may it be peaceful 🎅 🤶 🎄
