Hmmm. Good day. Four hours sleep is not enough. I can feel that already. I'll try for a nap around 11.00. Yesterday was good. My son cooked a very good piece of topside with all the usual accompaniments. I particularly liked the way he tossed sprouts, brocoli and peas together and dressed with a warm sauce of lemon, chilli, garlic and time thyme.That worked very well.

I had some good pressies. A bottle of Armagnac, Christian Dior Eau Savage (my favourite) and a T-shirt. Mrs P and I shared to gifts, a Fortnum and Mason hamper and a generous voucher for The Lowry which will probably give us 4-5 evenings out. Always welcome.

The little thing below is my favourite. A key fob! The reverse of each figure is engraved with a granddaughter's name.

Morning folks :okay: my ride yesterday wasnt the best, the headwind i estimate was around 20mph with gusts that stopped me dead. After battling up hill and down dale i said to myself 'sod this' :laugh: stopping to turn around i didnt notice my front wheel was in a slight dip in the road and didnt turn...couldnt get my feet out the clips and fell over in an undignified heap :laugh: ah well at least i didnt bend my derailleur and there was only sheep to laugh at me! Will try again today. :okay:

Morning all :hello:

Well, I had a really good night's sleep and woke up feeling considerably better than yesterday.
Will get up in about an hours time and have a shower, breakfast and possibly get outside for the first time in 4 days.
Got to be one of the worst Christmases I can remember.

You seem to get a lot of them. 🤕

I sympathise as a fellow sufferer. I have experimented with diet and supplements over the years. It's tough knowing what, if anything, helps as it can take a while for food changes or new supplements to kick in.

I suspect dairy makes me worse, hence the oat milk, also caffeine is a definite one. I take a combination of 3 supplements which are known to help some peeps too. Magnesium, B2 and Coq10.
