Bonjour tout le monde from a wet and cloudy Devon but not really cold.
The women are watching " Virgin River " on Netflix so I thought I would let you know that all is well here. I am upstairs, lying on the bed with Molly next to me.

Yesterday morning, we got up to see that Carole's dog, Maisy, managed to get into a tin of Celebrations chocolate during the night. There were wrappers everywhere on the floor so a trip to the vet was done and she had a stomach pump. £102 later,, Maisy is fine

Luckily, Molly sleeps with us and the bedroom door was shut so she couldn't join her.

The vet said it happens a lot over the Christmas period. Nice little earner for them.

We have a house full tomorrow so this afternoon we prepped and cooked the roast potatoes, roast carrots, parsnips, sprouts and also cooked the red cabbage. All now in the fridge and we’ll reheat them tomorrow, should make the prep a bit less stressful, although we still managed to argue!

don't you just love this time of the year :smooch:

I feel rubbish

sore throat - which I have had on and off for several days, blocked up, no sense of smell and knackered

did venture out for a couple of bits at Tesco
which is still a puzzle - car park about normal - a bit busy - shop normal for a normal day
but huge queues to get out of the car park???

anyway - got all that

main problem now is that I can;t find my wife's main present
I have wrapped severl bits but the main thing has gone missing

This happens a lot - but it is normally one of the bits

I was SURE it was in the bag in the garage with the stuff I got a few weeks ago
but it ain;t there

I will keep looking but I don't have the energy

wife isn;t feeling a lot better but seems to have a bit more energy today - she spent most of yesterday in bed!

It is a problem as her sister is on some drugs that surpress the immune system - not a good idea to go and see her tomorrow when we have a virus or something!!!

not sure about the grand kids - they probably gave ot to us in the first place so that will probably be OK!!

anyway - wife's dinner is in the oven as it will take ages
I can;t eat it so I might have a pork chop if I can face it!

Barnet,
The sausage rolls and mince pies have been made as have the cranberry sauce or should it be called cranberry jam?
As the oven was on I also cooked some spicy chicken wings and two pizzas for tonights tea.
Other than that, everything is ready for tomorrow.
