Morning all :hello:

Hoping that the small part I've ordered for my Bantam arrives today and I can then get it back on the road.
One part I ordered on Monday arrived by 2nd class post the following morning. So, what's the difference between 1st and 2nd class?

Depends on the size of the parcel, but, about 80p, at the smaller end of the scale

An interesting tale on the local Social Media Site:

A Customer bought a (Sharp) TV from local supermarket (ASDA).

It was in a box, sealed all round with tape.

When he got it home, and unboxed it, he found it was what appeared to be a secondhand TV, of a different brand, with a broken screen.

On returning the item to the store, the store suggested he had switched the new TV for the broken one, and, refused a refund or exchange.

The wrangling goes on, it remains to be seen if the store eventually relent and exchange/refund.

I thought it was an interesting dilemma. It seems unlikely that the store have boxed up an old TV to scam a customer, so, either someone else has bought the TV, and pulled the switch, then, resealed the box and returned it, or, the customer is indeed "trying it on".

I tend not to buy electrical items from the supermarket, but, I think, in future, if I do, it will open the box and check contents, BEFORE, it place it in my trolley and/or leave the store.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

it sounds more like a previous customer bought it, did a switch and sent an old broken one back then the shop didn't check it. It happens quite a lot.

Good morning all.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly and some of the Christmas goodies this morning. The fridge and freezer will be choca block.
Dog walking and domestics will follow.
Tonight I am off to White Hart Lane, I still can't call it the Spurs stadium to watch the league cup quarter final against some team that play in red and come from Manchester.

My stepson is a high-access rigger and is a huge Spurs fan.

We have photos of him way high on the stadium during the construction phase - it was a dream come true for him.

May have dozed off there. Bruce gives such lovely warm labracuddles I often snooze off after lunch.

You car owners should try Carplan Super Gloss spray. It ws recommended to me so I bought some not expecting much - after all, it's only Carplan, right? - and gave it a go. By God, I've never tried any wax or sealant that comes close for water repellent properties, and it lasts months. It's super easy to apply. Seriously team, well worth a go - I was genuinely gobsmacked.
