Update on the saga of my washing machine. There is a hole in the door seal, hence the water.

If its leaking would that make the washing machine stop or could there be another problem as well?
Can you turn the door seal 180 degrees so that the hole is now at the top?

Okay, can you turn the washing machine upside down?

Would it not be better to turn the door through 180 degrees?, May mean relocating the hinge? 😊

Worked this morning for a couple of hours and finally got around to replacing the front brake pads on my Motorcycle this afternoon, grubby old job but glad it’s now done, I’ve been putting it off.

I've spent a fun ten minutes or so confusing one of the local cats. Although the Hedgehogs are ( hopefully hibernating ) I still have one of the repurposed Wireless security cameras focussed on the hedgehog house. This has been entertaining as a family of mice has taken up residence underneath. Over the last few days there's been a robin viviting regularly as well. One of the local cats has been sniffing around too. I received an alert on my phone so fired up " Live view " there was a black cat hunkered down in the bushes, motionless apart from the occasional gentle flick of its tail and obviously waiting for the Robin, or one of the mice to venture forth. The app has a " Live Talk " button, so I pressed it and said " Oi! what do you thing you are up to? " . It was comic, the cat looked back over its shoulder toward the camera ( it's wedged low down in a bush about 6 inches off the ground ) It then unfolded itself and came to investigate, staring into the lens before backing off and looking puzzled. I then enquired if it was feeling hungry, and that if so, the humans who lived in the house at the top of the garden were a soft touch. I then launched into my Pss, Psss, Psss miaouw repertoire. I just checked back and the cat has headed off for pastures new 😁

Doesn’t even have to be all that fast. I am only on normal cables at a speed of around 36 mbs and I use a Sky Stream puck for internet tv and it works perfectly.
True that’s about the speed I am getting at the moment too . 😀 I was more thinking of the time in the near future when the whole copper wire based phone system is turned off .
I am a bit of a Luddite, so I am never a early adopter tech wise. After all coventry was one of the first places in the country to have fibre optic cables for internet installed . I’ve been putting off upgrading to it for about 15 years 😂😂😀.
