Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Do you have a spare key? If so the worst case is the cost to have one cut. If there are complications there are companies that will call out and sort it for you, OK it will cost a few bob but they are experts so can do everything for you.

Yes. I do have a spare set thank god.

I have no doubt the keys will just appear from nowhere sooner or later.

Update on the saga of my washing machine. There is a hole in the door seal, hence the water.

If its leaking would that make the washing machine stop or could there be another problem as well?

The honest answer is “I don’t know”, but, at a guess, machine may have some means of detecting water level, and, stopping to refill, if it falls too low?

Don’t know the make/model of your machine, but, replacement door seals appear to be in the £25-£35 range, so, maybe worth a try at replacing door seal and see if that fixes it.

I am sure Mr WD could be promised some suitable reward for his labour in doing the job 😂

Losing keys is very annoying, I’ve only ever lost them completely once, unlike my daughter who has lost numerous sets of keys , phones , wallets, purses, bags, scooters etc 😂😂.

Have spend the morning waiting to the sky installation man ( he did come at the correct time ) as we have just updated from sky + to skyQ . We only are doing it because the they have stoped doing software updates for the sky +, the Q box and instillation is free and the total cost is actually slightly less.
He has just gone and we have a new box, new dish ( the old one must be 20 years old ) and a new router too. Finger crossed that will last until I have to shift to superfast fibre optic interweb and all our television etc will be sourced though it.

Doesn’t even have to be all that fast. I am only on normal cables at a speed of around 36 mbs and I use a Sky Stream puck for internet tv and it works perfectly.

I hadn't thought of that, the detecting less water that is.

Mr WD is investigating as we speak

No way. £85 for a new door seal for my washing machine and there might be something else wrong with it as well.

Sod that I might as well buy a new washing machine

You can get an Ebac one, they're made oop north in the UK and have a 5? 7? Year warranty. Daughter purchased one a year ago and is very pleased with it. A bit more expensive, and I am not sure if they have a " Big Bloomers " program cycle.

Was it all free? I've been offered/advised to go to Q for the same reason but when I'd looked previously, I was told the external dish would need an upgrade and would be extra.
